Metaverse EDM
Virtual Engenharia was contracted by Electricidade de Moçambique, EP (EDM) in Jan/2025 to develop its Metaverse.
SE Maputo
A virtual tour of SE Maputo was created, featuring a multiplayer system and voice chat.
The next stage of the project will be to develop the interactions with the equipment, electrical calculations, supervisory system, and HMIs.
Field survey
For all projects it undertakes, Virtual Engenharia conducts field surveys, including photographic documentation and measurements.
For this project, several field surveys were conducted because EDM's intention is to create training programs for various generation and transmission plants.
Alongside the implementation of the substation, a mentoring process was created to train the EDM team in the development of virtual substations.
